Dr. Daniel Martino , PharmD
Daniel Martino is a practicing pharmacist who obtained his Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Alberta. He is currently working at two pharmacies in the rural community of Sundre Alberta, bridging the gap in care for around 13 000 people. Daniel has spearheaded many pharmacist prescribing initiatives, including leading a pharmacist-led Hepatitis C micro elimination clinic, an anticoagulation management service, and a certified diabetes educator diabetes program for high-risk patients. Daniel is working to collaborate with several local clinics to arrange a diabetes medication optimization service, where newly diagnosed and high-risk patients are referred to a program for education seminars, insulin adjustment, and medication optimization.
