Dr. Rui Su, PharmD
Rui Su (PharmD, RPh) is the Co-founder and Chief Clinical Officer at MedMe Health. After repeatedly experiencing first-hand the systems-level barriers for pharmacists to deliver quality and proactive care in the community, she co-founded MedMe in 2019 with the goal to transform pharmacies into community health hubs of the future. Since then, she has worn multiple hats across product, business development, and engineering, scaling the MedMe experience to support over 20 million patient services and almost 4000 pharmacies across Canada. Recently, she published an online course on Digital Health in Pharmacy funded by the Canadian Foundation for Pharmacy (https://www.healthelearning.ca/#/online-courses/79a6eaaf-72d3-4713-bd0a-5e728858ae9f).
Rui has also co-authored nationally-accredited pharmacy programs and serves as a preceptor for PharmD students at University of Waterloo and University of Toronto. She has been named 30X30 by Bay Street Bull, Top Female Founder by Founders Beta, and was awarded the WellSpring Leadership Award from the Canadian Foundation of Pharmacy and the Alumni Achievement Award from the University of Waterloo.
